Happy Halloween

I don’t know about everyone else but it’s been a monster horror of a week here!

Pumkin

Hubble, bubble, double pumkin trouble!

Not only have the boys and I been busy preparing to celebrate Halloween tonight by carving pumpkins, dressing up and getting sweets ready to take round to friends {our inverse version of trick or treating whereby we offer them a treat (sweets) or trick (my son ghoulishly pulling his eyelids inside out!)}  – I’ve also been busy on the writing front.

My tickets arrived for me and my Mum to see Paul Henry and Don Paterson in Chepstow next Saturday, I’ve been talking covers and editing my poetry collection due out next year and I put my Christmas hat on to think about some santa’s grotto children’s story activity sessions I’ve been asked to run.

It’s all been good fun, of course, not to mention the perfect excuse to relax with some toffee apple cider and mulled wine.  Cheers!

Reddy to scare!

Reddy to Scare!
